Amber Bernice Johnson

Amber Bernice Johnson was born September 15th, 2006. She has grown up so much in the past 2 months. She talks(babbles) alot now. She can say Grandpa, Cookie, Apple, Amber, and Brother. She's so smart. She is learning tons of new stuff everyday. She still hasn't learned how to eat yet. I was wondering about her speech and her eating so I talked to her doctor and she said she would refer me to Early Intervention and Meal Time Notions to see about her speech and her eating habits. Turns out Amber was so stressed with stuff that she shut her body down(so they say.) She has been seeing a speech therapist twice a month and is learning lots. I am also doing stuff at home to help her learn. She is going to be seeing the Meal Time Notions lady soon to learn how to eat properly. She always chewed up her food and spit it on her shirt and only ate alittle, they say that's caused by stress also. Well now she's starting to eat alittle, her favorite things to eat are Chicken Nuggets(from Costco) and Go Gurt! She hasn't quite mastered the telling me what she wants yet, but she's getting there and i'm so proud of her every day! I praise her with every little sound when she tries to say stuff! She is truly a beautiful Gem, i continue to polish everyday!
